I have been working on a few ways to authenticate API call and decided, sod it! I will just launch it so that you don’t need authentication just call the URL! Thats all there is to it.
The response for now is just plain text rather than XML or any other format. If you want another format then just contact me and we can discuss a response format. Because I am nice like that!
Anyway check it out and see if it works! Would be perfect for a Twitter client

Right I have been working hard today to get 2 new features out and one of them is ready! This feature is on the list below, thus leaving 3 features left. Unless some cool suggestions come in. Send them to me if you have any by filling in the contact form.
On the front page is a new section where you can simply drag a link to your browser toolbar. Then, whenever you see a site you want to “Litturl” just click the button, you will then be presented with your URL!
Anyway the next one will be coming soon! Possibly by the end of the day if my fingers can type fast enough!

Right so last night I finished the basic Litturl site. This includes creating Litturls on the main page and then when someone visits that url they are directed to the correct URL.
Sounds simple enough!
But there is soooo much more to come:

Welcome to the “hello world” post!
So what shall I put here? Wel I have big plans for Litturl! First of all there will be the main site where you can shorten any URL, for any purpose. One typical purpose I will use is Twitter! I want to save as many characters as possible!
On top of that I will be starting the Litturl Podcast. Which will be a showcase of the most popular links of the week. Aslong as they are legal and legitimate!
